About me…

I took this picture. Colorado is amazing.

My name is Benjamin Knapp. I’m a licensed acupuncturist, among other things. Missouri is my native state, and my though my heart is still that of a Missouri boy, I do love the mountains.

I received a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg MO, and a Masters of Acupuncture from the Institute of Taoist Education & Acupuncture in Louisville, CO. The road from a small-town Missouri boy to a Colorado acupuncturist has not been a straight or easy road, but on the whole it’s been a worthwhile journey. My study of acupuncture has brought a lot to my life, and I hope to my patient’s lives.

I am both self-taught and classically trained on the tuba (long story), I dabble on piano, voice, and bass guitar. I was singing in church by 6 years old, and music is one of my greatest sources of passion and frustration. I came within inches of meeting my mortal demise on my bicycle a few years ago, and a week later I started spontaneously composing classical music, like I’d always dreamed of as a child. True story.
Honestly, I’m passionate about lots of things; gardening, cycling, philosophy, theology, audio, and sunshine.
That’s probably enough about me. How are you doing?

That’s me playing my dream tuba at a tuba demo. Yes, tuba demos are a thing.
